Hauge Aqua AS was established to develop the new revolutionizing technology for closed containment farming of salmon - Egget ®. In 2016 the technology was transferred to a subsidiary of Hauge Aqua named Hauge Aqua Solutions AS. Then in 2022 Hauge Aqua Solutions AS changed its name to Ovum AS. And finally in 2023 all shares in Ovum AS owned by Hauge Aqua was distributed amongst the shareholders of Hauge Aqua AS based on their relative proportions. Therefore, Ovum AS is now a fully independent company who develops and owns all the rights to the technology behind Egget ®.
